Mississauga, ON - August 6, 2026 - Seaport Group is please to announce that it has acquired Classic Freight Systems, effective August 1, 2026, expanding our network and adding capacity and multi-modal expertise for customers across our combined footprint.
Classic will continue to operate under its existing name and brand, led by its current leadership team. Customers and vendors of both companies can expect the same contacts, rates, and service they rely on today with the added strength and resources of a larger, established group behing it.
